Kred (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is a loan tracking application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our app.

Account information: Email address and name when you sign up
Loan data: Names, amounts, dates, and notes you enter for loans
Contact data: Only when you choose to pick a contact — we access your contacts solely to fill in borrower details and do not store your contact list
Device data: Basic device information for app functionality

3. How We Use Your Information

To provide and maintain the app
To send account-related emails (signup confirmation, password reset)
To send push notifications for loan due dates (only if you enable them)
To sync your data across devices via our secure cloud backend (Supabase)

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, which uses industry-standard encryption. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data or loan data with any third parties.

5. Business Transfers

In the event that Kred or its assets are acquired by or merged with another company, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us. We will delete your data within 30 days of your request.

7. Children’s Privacy

Kred is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes via email or in-app notification.
